Happy :)

This week has been a very comfortable and happy one =)
So much nice food and much laughter with friends..
If only every week would pass like this..

It is a luxury to wake up on Sunday and look back at the past week with contentedness
Instead of looking ahead and dreading work on Monday..

It's a beautiful feeling to be contented..
To be able to listen to good music and dine on good food..
And to laze arnd on a sweet smelling bed =)

And right now as I write this..
The world outside my window is drenched in gold..
The skyscrapers are glinting in the dusk..
Nice weekend man..

Mmmmm.. Life's Good =)

Bigger Things

From handling mainly Divorce and Adoption files..
I've progressed to Litigation and Probate, Bankruptcy and Conveyancing..
From having an Orange mass on my table..
My table has all colours now..

It seems like my job scope has expanded triplefold..
However I find myself more relaxed!
Besides that, I've received more praise!
I can't believe it..
Daud and my boss are happy with my work =)
And my boss actually told FQ that 'she's good' =)

Anyway today was our turn to take everyone out for dinner =)
We bought everyone seafood dinnedr at Jumbo again =)
This time Mr Alan was there too..
We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.. even more than the last time!

I'm sure I'll miss my colleagues when I'm overseas studying..
*sigh* I do have lots of people to miss..

Butterfly Whirl

The past week has been a blur of activity..
As I look back it seems like non-stop work and food with a few hours of sleep thrown in..

On Tuesday my boss took us all out to Jumbo Seafood at ECP for a massive dinner =)
She wanted to celebrate FQ 's and my graduation
We had quite a fun time poking fun at everyone =)

The actual graduation ceremony on Wednesday was (expectedly) very bittersweet
I loved the part when everyone except the prize winners had already gotten back to their seats

When they went up to receive their awards and prizes the entire cohort of us appluaded and screeched their names lol
We made so much noise cheering and yelling..
'Til the other graduating course Business Info Tech looked on in amazement at the insane law students lol
But the most heart-rendering part was when Sheela went up on stage and received the gold medal =)
The entire course stood on its feet lol!
We gave her a standing ovation everyone of us!
It was amazing the rapport everyone showed
Our teachers were so touched too..

After the ceremony..
Phy and i tried to catch up with as many people we could..
We also took lots of photos (expected too huh?)
We lingered on til Godma got bored haha

Godma took me and Phy out shopping and for a movie after that..
It was a show about this pair of Mother and Daughter who could never understand each other..
(at first i felt weird about watching such a show with them)
But i guess the show was really funny and i began to relax =)
Dinner was in honour of our graduation and Phoebe's 25th birthday at Coca Steamboat Restaurant
By the time i got home i was dead tired lol
But very satisfied too =)

Thursday..
Angela didnt show up for work and didnt even say a thing to anyone..
We spent the morning wondering what happened between her and my boss lol
Anyway..
GOOD RIDDANCE!
We all had enough of her nonsense lol

Friday..
Angela didnt appear either =)
Mr Alan's turn to take us to lunch =)
In honour of our graduation we had a quick lunch together at the Medical Alumni
(also because he wasnt there on tuesday nite)

What a week full of good food =) and mooncake too..
Our clients just keep sending us boxes and boxes lol
Guess they want a well-fed, happy and contented law firm acting for them! haha =P
